Report shares Everton and West Ham stance on Guus Til as January looms

Everton and West Ham are amongst a host of Premier League clubs eyeing a potential January move for Netherlands international Guus Til, according to a report from TEAMtalk.

Til is currently on loan at Feyenoord following a £15 million move to Spartak Moscow in 2019. His spell in Russia proved to be a difficult one. But he has been outstanding in the opening months of this campaign.

The 23-year-old has scored nine goals in the Eredivisie this season. Meanwhile, he scored another six times in the qualifiers for the Europa Conference League.

Spartak have the option to recall him from his loan in January. And TEAMtalk suggests that a number of Premier League sides want the attacking midfielder.

Everton, West Ham and Crystal Palace are all admirers. Meanwhile, Wolves, Southampton, Brighton, Brentford and Watford all also want the former AZ man.

It is claimed in the report that Til would ideally like to stay with Feyenoord. He has set his sights on keeping his place in the national team.

Everton and West Ham fans may have reservations about signing Guus Til

Til has been prolific from midfield this season. And he does have the ability to play further forward. But players signed from the Eredivisie have not always had the easiest time when moving to the Premier League.

Til also previously struggled in Russia. And given that his stock is high, Spartak will surely want to make a profit before cashing in on the youngster.

His form suggests that in the right circumstances, he could be an amazing signing for one of his Premier League admirers.

But with Everton not spending big money right now, and West Ham needing to prioritise a striker and centre-back, a move would be a real roll of the dice for either.
