According to a report from The Argus, Brighton and Hove Albion have no interest in selling Ben White as his stock continues to rise during his loan spell with Leeds United.
White looked to be a risky signing for the Whites in the summer. His arrival was soon followed by Pontus Jansson’s departure from Elland Road, making it clear that the youngster was set to be a key man for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

White went into the season having not played at a level higher than League One. But he has proved to be a revelation at the heart of the Leeds defence.
The centre-back won the PFA Fans’ Championship Player of the Month for August. And the supporters have raved about almost all of his performances so far.

It would be little surprise if White was attracting a lot of admirers. But The Argus reports that the Seagulls have no intention of letting the 22-year-old leave on a permanent basis.
TBR’s View – Is door completely shut for Leeds?
It looks incredibly unlikely that White will be going out on loan next season. And if Brighton remain in the Premier League ahead of next season, it would be no surprise to see him stay at the Amex Stadium.
However, perhaps there is a scenario that could leave the door open for any admirers to make a move.
Graham Potter’s men have made a mixed start to the campaign. They sit 14th in the table, just two points above the bottom three.
While it is too soon to suggest that they may be relegation candidates – they are also only five points off the top four – Brighton going down would surely provide the only opportunity for another side to sign White permanently without breaking the bank.
For Leeds therefore, promotion this season is surely a must. If Bielsa’s men do go up, then it would be little surprise to see White on the club’s shopping list next summer.
But they would surely also need Brighton to take their place in the Championship to give them a chance of keeping the defender beyond this season.
