Goal have claimed Spanish side Sevilla have confirmed that they have received two bids from England for star defender Diego Carlos, as interest continues to mount in the 27-year-old.
Carlos has been one of they key players for Sevilla in recent times, developing a reputation as one of the very best defensive players in La Liga.

That form, then, has led to the likes of Man City and Liverpool registering their interest in the defender, who is believed to have a release clause in the region of £68m in his contract.
And now Goal have apparently learnt that two bids are in for Carlos. That news will intensify rumours of it being either City or Liverpool, with the report stating those bids come from England.
The Brazilian star has made 40 appearances in all competitions this season for the Spanish side.

Both City and Liverpool are said to be keen on a new defender this summer. The Reds could see Dejan Lovren leave, while City could be set to move John Stones on.
It has to be these two, unless United have stumped up the cash – TBR View
Diego Carlos is a quality defender and it would be very surprising if these reported bids are from anywhere else but Anfield and The Etihad.
The only other viable options, you would think, would be Chelsea and Manchester United. However, both of those clubs haven’t been linked like City and Liverpool.
At 27, he’s coming into his prime and would be a shrewd addition it seems. And while £70m or so might seem excessive, it can be worth it. Indeed, you only have to look at the impact both Virgil van Dijk and Aymeric Laporte had at the aforementioned clubs.
