Report: Several European giants ask about Tottenham star Reguilon

Tottenham Hotspur are probably not going to struggle to offload Sergio Reguilon in some capacity this summer, with Marca reporting that several European giants have now asked about the left-back.

Reguilon looks set to be on the move this summer. Antonio Conte has already brought in Ivan Perisic. And the Spaniard was left out of the squad which travelled to South Korea for their pre-season tour.

Reports this week claimed that Sevilla hope to re-sign the 25-year-old. However, Julen Lopetegui’s men face a battle to bring the Spain international back to the club, it seems.

According to Marca, several European giants have asked about signing Reguilon. In fact, he now has a raft of offers to consider. It is noted however, that he is very interested in a return to Sevilla.

Obviously, Tottenham will probably welcome the greater interest in Reguilon. Spurs agreed a deal worth up to £32 million when they signed the defender from Real Madrid two years ago.

He is clearly a very talented player. And there have been plenty of occasions where he has looked to have the potential to be an absolute star in the Spurs side.

However, it does seem that Antonio Conte has his reservations about his suitability for his system. And with that, a summer exit looks to make sense for all parties.

Tottenham will want a hefty fee for the ‘brilliant‘ defender. But the chances of them receiving that have certainly increased with plenty of teams looking to land Reguilon in this window.
