Victor Wanyama could be at the centre of a transfer tussle on transfer deadline day with several clubs chasing the Tottenham midfielder.
According to the Daily Record, Celtic remain keen on their former player but do face a battle with no fewer than four other clubs.
Bayer Leverkusen, Lazio, Galatasaray and Rennes are all interested in landing the 28-year-old too.

Wanyama has played just twice for Spurs this season and hasn’t made a Premier League squad under Jose Mourinho.
The Kenyan international is valued at £8 million by Tottenham and is paid £65,000-a-week (Spotrac).
It will be interesting to see if Wanyama does land a move before the window slams shut.
Tottenham would like him gone but the valuation is proving tricky to negotiate as Daniel Levy aims to recoup a decent price for his club’s player.
Parkhead return?
Wanyama played 91 games for the Hoops prior to joining Southampton and he was a popular figure among the club’s supporters.
His arrival at Celtic Park would have to be seen as a coup for the club.
He would return with 154 Premier League appearances to his name and that experience could be vital in the Scottish top-flight.

With the other interested parties probably boasting bigger budgets, a deal could prove tricky.
If Celtic could tempt Tottenham into allowing the midfielder to join on loan then it would be an attractive move for the champions.
Earlier this week Olivier Ntcham was linked with a move to West Ham. If he was to leave that would leave Celtic needed a central midfielder.
As a result, Wanyama could prove a decent acquisition if they can land the player ahead of the clutch of European clubs also vying for his signature.
