Ross McCormack is the headline name on a list of Aston Villa fringe players set for a pay rise if promotion is secured this season, according to The Mirror.
Aston Villa face Derby County next weekend in a one-match showdown at Wembley to decide which team will play Premier League football next season.
And if the Villans go up, McCormack will have his wage boosted to a staggering £70k-per-week. Other players, like Gary Gardner, are also set for pay hikes.
McCormack is currently out on loan at Motherwell. This is his fourth loan stint away from Aston Villa after spells with Nottingham Forest, Melbourne City and Central Coast Mariners.

The 32-year-old Scotsman has been a major flop at Villa Park. After arriving as a marquee striker signing in 2016, McCormack has only scored three goals for the club.
But he is still in line to have his wages boosted to £70k-per-week. These are astronomical figures for an under-performing player.
McCormack has one year remaining on his Aston Villa contract. And with those wages, Dean Smith will struggle to get him off the books.
Gardner also has one year left on his current deal. But others like Henri Lansbury and Scott Hogan still have two years remaining. They are both set for wage increases, even though neither has played a significant role this season.
