Celtic might actually find themselves a buyer for outcast defender Boli Bolingoli this summer, according to reports in Italy.
The Belgian defender is persona non grata at Parkhead following his contravention of the quarantine protocol in Scotland that ultimately led to Celtic having Scottish Premiership games postponed.
With that in mind, it appears that Celtic are ready to let Bolingoli leave, although there are not many buyers out there for his services.
Which would make a move from Roma, one of Italy’s biggest clubs, seem odd. However, that is exactly what TuttoMercatoWeb is suggesting as a possibility, presumably as a replacement for Aleksandar Kolarov, who is being linked with a move away from the Stadio Olimpico.

The report also mentions interest from Turkish champions Istanbul Basaksehir, which would certainly seem a more likely proposition.
Celtic spent a reported (Scottish Sun) £3 million to bring the player in from Rapid Vienna and after a promising start he soon found himself replaced by Greg Taylor and his subsequent indiscretion has now seen the 25-year-old pushed toward the exit.
Roma making a move would seem odd. That said, his cousins Jordan and Romelu Lukaku are both playing in Italy with the former playing for Roma’s city rivals Lazio, which would seemingly give Bolingoli a reason to head to Rome.
Celtic will just be hoping they can recoup as much of the fee they paid for Bolingoli when they finally secure a buyer for his services.
