Italian side Roma are reportedly keen on a move for Everton forward Moise Kean.
According to the Daily Star, the Serie A club are ready to “step up their interest” in the 19-year-old.
It is understood that they want to take him on an initial loan deal in January with a view to a permanent £19million swoop next summer.
The report details that the Toffees are “unlikely” to be tempted by the offer from Roma and want to see the struggling attacker come good with them.
Kean has no league starts since September and was at the centre of controversy at the weekend in the 1-1 draw away to Manchester United.
The Italian was substituted on in the second-half and caretaker boss Duncan Ferguson withdrew him after just 19 minutes for tactical reasons.

TBR’s View:
After a poor start to life on Merseyside this year, it’s no surprise to see Kean linked with a potential exit in January.
The striker has zero goals 14 senior games so far this season for Everton and has slipped right down the pecking order.
He arrived as an extremely highly-rated talent that was starting to make a name for himself at Juventus, but has failed to hit the ground running in the same vein in the Premier League.
It’s far too soon to think about selling the forward and perhaps a loan move to help him regain confidence makes sense for all parties.
