Tottenham star Harry Kane is reportedly attracting interest from Spanish and Champions League giants Real Madrid.
According to SER Deportivos, Madrid want to make a marquee signing in attack this summer, with Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe two superstars on their radar.
It is explained though that they’ve now added Spurs frontman Kane to their shortlist.
The report states the La Liga club feel a deal for him may be cheaper and more likely, albeit it would still take a “significant” transfer fee to prize him away from north London.
Kane, who earns £200,000-a-week (Spotrac), has arguably been the standout performer in the Premier League this season, and the England captain is one of the world’s elite attackers.
He’s scored 27 goals and supplied 16 assists in 40 games across all competitions so far this season.
It’s regularly pointed out that the 27-year-old is yet to win a piece of silverware in his career since coming through the Spurs academy, which is why some neutrals are amazed he’s not moved elsewhere yet.

TBR’s View:
If Spurs suffer defeat in this season’s Carabao Cup final to Manchester City, then the panic with supporters about Kane’s future may increase just a fraction.
There is speculation now beginning to surface around the centre-forward, who has the ability to play for any team in the world.
Spurs would surely be able to make a ridiculous amount of money if they were to cash in on Kane in his prime, but finding a replacement would be an almost impossible task.
