Real Madrid are open to selling Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior this summer, just weeks after it emerged Liverpool were interested in the 20-year-old.
Diaro claimed in January that the Reds were among a number of clubs keen on Vincius. However, with a defender always the priority, any realistic chance of Jurgen Klopp landing the Madrid man were always slim.

However, AS now claims that Madrid could be actively looking to sell Vinicius. His form has not been up to the standard expected at the Bernabeu, and it is claimed Los Blancos would sell him to raise funds this summer.
Once branded a ‘new Neymar’ by former Brazil striker Edmundo, Vinicius Junior hasn’t quite lived up to that hype as yet. Still just 20, there is, of course, time for the young samba star to develop.

Liverpool could well look to move for a new attacker in the summer. Gini Wijnaldum may be on his way, while the injury to Diogo Jota this season has left the Reds somewhat short in terms of their front three options.
TBR View: Vinicius has potential, a bargain deal could be worth the risk
It’s unclear what sort of fee Madrid would be looking for if they sell Vinicius. He did sign for around £38m (BBC), so if they’re looking for that sort of money, it could be a no-go for Liverpool.
However, if they’re desperate to offload and will lower that price, then a bargain deal could be in the offing.
Vinicius is undoubtedly a huge talent. It just needs harnessing by the right manager. Jurgen Klopp, then, might well fancy himself as the man to maximise the youngster’s ability.
