Real Betis have already put an offer on the table for Dani Ceballos, with Spanish outlet El Confidencial reporting that the Arsenal loanee has no interest in staying in the Premier League.

Ceballos is edging towards the final stages of his second loan spell at the Emirates. And it has proved to be a difficult time for the Spaniard in North London.

He has come in for a lot of criticism in recent times, most significantly when he was sent off during the first-leg of Arsenal’s Europa League semi-final with Villarreal.

It would be a surprise if the Gunners had any intention of trying to extend his stay. But it would seem that Ceballos has his heart set on heading elsewhere anyway.

According to El Confidencial, he does not want to stay in the Premier League, and it is suggested that he is prepared to leave Real Madrid with Zinedine Zidane set to stay.

The good news for Ceballos – who, La Razon claimed, is valued at £22 million – is there is an offer on the table for the 24-year-old from former club Real Betis.

TBR View: Arsenal should welcome Ceballos’s stance

It looks to be best for all parties for Ceballos to leave the Emirates this summer. There have been times when he has been outstanding during his two years with Arsenal.

However, his lack of consistency has posed a real problem for Mikel Arteta.

Should Ceballos join Betis, he would be returning to familiar surroundings. Meanwhile, Arsenal can look elsewhere as they look to improve their midfield options this summer.
