Reading are planning to reignite their interest in Mo Besic, with The Telegraph reporting that the Royals hope to sign the Everton midfielder on a free transfer this summer.
Besic looks set to be on his way out of Goodison Park at the end of the campaign. The 28-year-old’s deal with the Toffees ends in the coming months.

He has not played for Everton since December 2017. Since then, he has been out on a couple of loan spells.
He was unable to secure a loan move in either of the previous two windows. But that has not tempted Carlo Ancelotti to include him on the bench at any stage this season.

The Telegraph reports that Reading wanted to sign the Bosnia and Herzegovina international in January. However, they could not agree a deal.
But the report suggests that they remain interested in Besic. Obviously, his contract expiring should make it much easier to finalise a move.
Veljko Paunovic’s men remain in promotion contention in the Championship. The Royals sit seventh in the table, two points off Bournemouth.
There seems to be next to no chance of Everton doing anything to try and keep Besic. It is more than three years since he last played for the club. And Ancelotti will likely welcome the additional space on the wage budget.
