Report: Raphinha’s agent to meet with Leeds to discuss future

Leeds United are set to meet with Deco in the near future to discuss the terms that would allow Raphinha to move in the summer, according to a report from Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte.

Raphinha has been a revelation at Elland Road. He has scored five goals and contributed five assists in the Premier League following his arrival in October.

He is certainly establishing himself as one of the most exciting talents in the top flight. And unsurprisingly, his form is attracting a lot of attention.

According to UOL Esporte, Liverpool recently took a look at the 24-year-old. And now, Manchester United have entered into the race to find out how much the winger would cost.

The report adds that Deco now wants to meet with Victor Orta to discuss Raphinha’s future. It appears that he would like to know the terms required if Raphinha – who earns £28,000-a-week, according to Tuttomercatoweb – was going to move this summer.

TBR View: Raphinha attracting interest was inevitable, but Leeds fans will take encouragement from recent comments

Leeds supporters will not be shocked to see Raphinha linked with a move away. But they may hold out some hope about his future after an interview he recently gave.

As reported by the club’s official website, the former Rennes man stated how happy he is at Leeds. He also expressed his excitement about playing in front of a full Elland Road.

Of course, Whites fans will be aware that the club are likely to face a battle to keep him for a long time. But it is surely a big boost to their hopes of staving off interest if he is happy at Leeds.
