Leeds United are not far away from agreeing a deal with Barcelona for Raphinha, with the winger in Spain awaiting the green light to undergo a medical, according to a report from 90min.
Raphinha, of course, has looked to be on the brink of leaving Elland Road for much of the window. And, after some drama involving a few Premier League sides, it is Barca who once again look set to secure his signature.

Chelsea have agreed a fee. But they are yet to sort personal terms with the 25-year-old. That is largely because Raphinha wants to join Barcelona.
The Catalan giants have now verbally agreed to match the Blues’ offer. However, there are still some hurdles to clear. And 90min reports that clubs are wary of agreeing a deal with Barcelona that involves the club paying in several instalments over a number of years.

Leeds have informed Barcelona that they want a deal agreed before they leave for their pre-season tour to Australia in the coming days. Raphinha meanwhile, is already in Spain just waiting for the go-ahead to undergo a medical.
Raphinha deal not far away
Some supporters may have hoped that the uncertainty may increase the likelihood of Raphinha staying for a little longer.
The next best option is that Leeds receive a huge sum as soon as possible from a club outside of the Premier League. Of course, not facing him in the league will be beneficial to Jesse Marsch’s side.
Barcelona clearly have work to do to offers terms that Leeds are happy with. But it seems that both sides are expecting an agreement to be reached.
Raphinha is an ‘unbelievable‘ player. And Leeds are entitled to let him go to the club who make the best offer. The onus is now on Barcelona to at least match what Chelsea have put on the table and back it up.
