Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has turned down a move to China, as reported by Sky Sports.
Apparently the Colombian hitman, who scored 29 goals last term for the Gers, rejected a lucrative £30 million contract from Hebei China Fortune.
The proposed three-year deal would have seen Morelos rake in £10 million-a-year (£192,000-a-week) before tax.

Apparently the club were willing to match the £15 million valuation of the 23-year-old, but no official bid has actually been lodged to Rangers.
Under contract at Ibrox until 2023, the player is arguably Rangers’ most valuable asset, and manager Steven Gerrard is determined not to lose him.
“Alfredo is a huge part of what we are trying to do here,” said Gerrard on Sunday.
“I can only say I want him to be part of it. The decision lands with Alfredo.”
TBR’s view
Morelos has to be commended for his decision if the report is true.
China is known as the place footballersgenerally go to for money towards the end of their playing careers.

£30 million is an eye-watering figure and may well have tempted Morelos away from Scottish football.
The talented South American has plenty of time left in career to consider moving to the Far East.
He has brilliant potential to achieve things in Europe and it would be a huge waste of his talent – not to mention the fans likely wouldn’t forgive him.
