Rangers have submitted an offer for Fenerbahce attacker Bright Osayi-Samuel according to reports in Turkey.
VOLE’s Yagız Sabuncuoglu claims that the Scottish champions have made an official bid for the former Queens Park Rangers winger. Celtic and Ligue 1 side AS Monaco, who finished third last season, are also interested in Osayi-Samuel.

Rangers are eager to improve their attacking depth ahead of next season. Steven Gerrard’s side will compete in the UEFA Champions League for the first time in over a decade, and Osayi-Samuel is seemingly a target for the Scottish giants.
Once a promising target in the Championship
The Nigerian-born attacker was once one of the Championship’s most exciting prospects with QPR. In 2020, Crystal Palace, following the success of Eberechi Eze, were interested in the forward according to Sky Sports News.

However, Osayi-Samuel made the unorthodox decision to join Fenerbahce in Turkey, where things have not gone to plan for the 23-year-old.
The winger has scored just once since arriving in Istanbul, as per Sabuncuoglu, Fener’s new boss, whoever that will be, will make the final decision on whether or not Osayi-Samuel leaves this summer.
Rangers have to secure Osayi-Samuel signing
With Osayi-Samuel likely to leave Fenerbahce this summer, Rangers could be an ideal destination for the former QPR star.

The Glasgow club has proven to be an excellent destination for young players to develop and play regular first-team football, such as Ryan Kent and Joe Aribo.
And in Osayi-Samuel, Rangers could have another project to embark on should they sign the youngster.

With Rangers likely to play plenty of games next season, squad depth will be key. And in Osayi-Samuel, the Fenerbahce attacker could prove to be an excellent option to have in the team given his rapid pace and trickery on the ball that made him one of the top prospects in the Championship not too long ago.
