The Daily Record have claimed that Rangers have opted to reject an eight-figure bid from English Championship side West Bromwich Albion for striker Alfredo Morelos this summer.
Morelos, 22, is likely to be on the shortlist of a number of European clubs after shining for the Gers last season. The hothead Colombia international scored an enormous 30 goals for Steven Gerrard’s side.
The former HJK Helsinki striker has started this season strongly, scoring four goals in five games in all competitions for Rangers this season. It has tempted West Brom manager Slaven Bilic to test Rangers’ resolve.

Indeed, the Baggies are believed to have tabled an offer of £10million plus add-ons in a bid to land Morelos, who signed a contract at Ibrox towards the end of last season – which will keep him in Glasgow until June 2023.
Rangers are believed to want a figure closer to the fee that bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic received from French side Lyon for ex-Fulham striker Moussa Dembele – which was believed to be in the region of £20million.
West Brom need a striker after selling Jay Rodriguez to Premier League side Burnley, while Salomon Rondon has moved to China with Dalian Yifang and Dwight Gayle has returned to Newcastle United after his loan spell.
