Rangers are hoping to see off Premier League competition and agree a move that would see Kyle Joseph move to Ibrox this summer, according to a report from The Sun on Sunday (10/1; page 58).
Joseph is attracting plenty of attention with his contract set to expire at the end of the season. He has scored four goals in 11 League One games this term.

The Sun reported earlier this month that Tottenham Hotspur were preparing a fresh bid in this window having failed to sign the 19-year-old forward in the summer.
But it appears that Steven Gerrard is hoping to spring a surprise and snatch the youngster for the Gers.

According to The Sun on Sunday (10/1; page 58), Rangers are working on a pre-contract for the Spurs target – who Wigan Athletic currently value at £1 million.
It is noted that he would cost the Gers nothing if he did move to Ibrox.
TBR View: Major statement if Rangers beat Tottenham to Joseph’s signature
Joseph looks to have an incredibly bright future ahead of him. So it would arguably be a huge statement if Rangers managed to beat Spurs to his signature.
Of course, they have a current advantage in that they do not need to agree a fee with Wigan to hold talks with the striker. But having been interested in the last two windows, it appears to be safe bet to assume that Tottenham will be there with an offer in the summer should he leave the Latics.
With that in mind, it would be a real coup if Gerrard could take him to Rangers.
