Rangers are reportedly keeping an eye on striker Lyle Taylor from English Championship club Charlton Athletic.
According to Sky Sports, Steven Gerrard’s team have the 29-year-old on their radar and are monitoring him.
It is understood that the Championship trio of Swansea City, West Brom and Sheffield Wednesday are keen on trying to sign him.
The report explains that his contract at the Valley expires in the summer, which means could try land him for a cut-price fee next month or try sign him on a pre-contract agreement.
Rangers currently have talisman Alfredo Morelos as their main man in attack, while veteran Jermain Defoe does a decent job backing him up as his understudy.
But the Scottish giants don’t have too many other options at their disposal and it’s likely they will need their whole squad to maintain their title bid against Celtic.
Taylor is an experienced striker that is hitting the peak of his career right now and it looks like he could be available for a bargain price in the summer.
He started the season on fire with five goals in the opening six games of the league season, but an injury saw him sidelined for a couple of months and he’s only just returned to action with two appearances recently.
The quick striker has shown he can score goals when given the service and Joe Aribo has thrived since his move from Charlton to Rangers.
