Rangers are reportedly chasing a move for Leicester City midfielder Andy King.
According to the Leicester Mercury, the Gers have entered discussions with the 30-year-old about a possible loan switch.
It is understood that he will travel to Scotland on Thursday for more talks about securing a loan deal at Ibrox.
King is a famous part of the furniture at Leicester after breaking into the first-team in 2006 and has played in the top three divisions of English football with them.
The Wales international also helped winch Premier League title in the 2015/16 campaign and has played in the Champions League.
He’s fallen down the pecking order in recent times at Leicester and injuries haven’t helped, while he’s already had loan spells out at Swansea City and Derby County.
It looks like Rangers may still have some business to do in this summer window and King is an under the radar signing that could be a real hit at Ibrox.
He’s an experienced midfielder that would strengthen competition in Steven Gerrard’s squad and they need the numbers to compete in both Europe and domestic matches.
The central midfielder has 61 goals in 375 Leicester appearances and can be a threat when he pushes forward.
