Rangers have reportedly made a U-turn in their pursuit of Motherwell attacker Jake Hastie.
According to the Glasgow Evening Times, the Gers have pulled out of a move for the 20-year-old and will now turn their attention elsewhere.
It is understood that Steven Gerrard’s side had agreed to bring the winger to Ibrox on a pre-contract deal at the end of the season, but the transfer has dragged on in recent weeks to make them change their mind.
The report details that MLS club Atlanta United could now snap him up when his contract expires at the end of the campaign.
Hastie is a left-footed attacker that has been proving himself in the Scottish Premiership in recent months and in a dramatic twist it seems like Rangers have ended their interest.

TBR’s View:
Rangers could seriously regret missing out on Hastie on a free transfer, as he’s showing a lot of potential in Scotland and is still a young talent that can get better.
The dazzling wide man has been in brilliant form since the turn of the year, scoring five times in 11 league games for Motherwell since being recalled from a loan.
Gerrard needs to try add more attacking firepower for the next campaign and the winger would have been an exciting prospect.
