Glasgow Rangers are reportedly interested in bringing Isaac Atanga to Ibrox this summer, according to Kickgh.com.
Currently plying his trade with FC Nordsjaelland in the Danish Superliga, the Ghanaian outlet has claimed that Steven Gerrard’s side is “set to open transfer talks” over the 19-year-old attacker.
Rangers are one of a number of clubs reportedly interested in Atanga, with Club Brugge, Feyenoord, Anderlecht and Deportivo Alaves also said to be eyeing the teenage ace.

Atanga, a winger who can also play as a forward, joined Nordsjaelland from Ghanaian-based Right to Dream Academy – a feeder club of the Danish Superliga club – in 2018.
He was promoted to the senior team following his impressive displays for the Under-19s side and has made his breakthrough this season, registering seven goals and five assists in 35 games.
“Atanga reminds you of Yaw Preko (former Ghana international forward)”, Ghanaian coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani told Football Ghana last year.
“He plays direct football and he’s your typical No. 7 who can use his qualities to break down your opponents.”
Kickgh.com has also reported that Nordsjaelland are looking to sell Atanga for a fee of between five to nine million euros (£4.5million to £8.2million).
TBR View:
Rangers have been linked with a number of talented youngsters plying their trade at somewhat modest clubs, testament to the Ibrox outfit’s impressive scouting network.
Interestingly, Cameron Campbell, a young coach supported by first-team coach Michael Beale, is to join Rangers from the Right to Dream academy and Norsjaelland.
Could Campbell have earmarked Atanga to the Ibrox setup as a player to move for? If that’s the case, then the Gers could be getting their hands on a superb talent.
