Rangers are now discussing a deal that would see Bongani Zungu arrive at Ibrox on loan, according to a report from Sky Sports’ live transfer blog (5/10; 13:51).
Zungu has been linked with a switch to Rangers throughout the summer. And there has been plenty of talk on deadline day that he may end up joining the Gers.

KickOff suggested that a fee had been agreed earlier on in the day. But perhaps, that may not actually be the case.
According to Sky Sports’ live transfer blog (5/10; 13:51), Rangers are discussing a loan deal with Amiens rather than a permanent move.

The report adds that Zungu has expressed his desire to leave the Ligue 2 side. So it would certainly appear that some sort of move is edging closer.
Of course, Rangers may be keen to agree an option to buy if indeed they are looking at loaning Zungu.
The South Africa international would strengthen their options in the middle of the park. He is capable of playing in a variety of midfield roles.
And as he only turns 28 in a few days, there is no reason why he cannot enjoy the best years of his career at Ibrox if a deal can get across the line.
