Rangers are said to be close to signing Colombian striker, Juan Alegria, from FC Honka, according to a report from the Glasgow Times.
Alegria has told the publication that he is in discussions to finalise a move to the Scottish giants.
“Together with my family, we are studying and finalising details to transfer me to Rangers – a great team who are the best in Scotland and highly recognised in European football,” Alegria said.

The youngster, who got a move to Finland after impressing in for Colombian under-17 national team, has been given his first-team debut by Honka and has seemingly impressed Rangers boss Steven Gerrard.
However, the report claims Gerrard could allow Alegria to move out on an immediate loan, with Alfredo Morelos and Jermaine Defoe likely to keep him down the pecking order for now.

Rangers are currently flying high in the Scottish Premier League as Gerrard looks to lead his men to the title ahead of Celtic.
Smart move from Rangers, but a little known talent – TBR View
Alegria won’t be well known by the majority of people in Scotland who follow Rangers but it shows that Gerrard is casting his scouting net far and wide to bring in players.
The young Colombian sounds a determined player and is clearly keen to emulate fellow countrymen like Radamel Falcao. He has, of course, got a long way to go on that front but Rangers might well just have an unearthed gem on their hands if this one goes to plan.
