English Championship side Blackburn Rovers are reportedly eyeing a potential swoop for Rangers attacker Jordan Jones.
According to the Daily Record, Blackburn are “weighing up a move” for the 25-year-old in January.
It is understood that Blackburn manager Tony Mowbray is a big fan of the winger and briefly worked with him in the past at Middlesbrough.
The report details that there is the possibility of an imminent loan offer this month to take Jones until the end of the season with a view to a permanent deal.
It adds that the Northern Ireland international “may be reluctant” to leave Ibrox after only joining his boyhood club in the summer from Kilmarnock.

TBR’s View:
Rangers should definitely ignore any interest they receive in January for Jones, as he could play an important role in the second half of the season.
The dazzling wide player looked impressive in the early stages of the campaign, especially during the club’s Europa League qualifying campaign.
But a knee injury has kept him sidelined since September and since then he’s watched his team kick on under manager Steven Gerrard.
Jones is now back in contention and he can offer an extra creative threat if he can get some minutes again.
