According to Sport Bild, Spurs could be set to consider Ralf Rangnick as their new manager to take over from Jose Mourinho.
The experienced German manager is one of a number of coaches on the shortlist for Spurs. However, Bild have claimed that things have got ‘hot’ between Spurs and Rangnick, and they even state Spurs may have made an offer.
However, reports also suggest that Spurs may be looking for a young manager to take the reins, which puts doubt into the potential of a link up with Rangnick.

The 62-year-old is one of the most respected coaches in the game to this day. He’s enjoyed numerous successful spells, particularly in recent years with the Red Bull franchise of teams.
Spurs are seeking a replacement for Jose Mourinho but as yet, haven’t made any sort of decision. Daniel Levy is looking for the ideal replacement, but the likes of Erik Ten Hag and Brendan Rodgers already look to be out of the running.
Rangnick, then, could well provide an experienced option for Levy, albeit his age means he’d likely be a short-term appointment.
TBR View: Can Spurs do better than Rangnick? Their fans will probably hope so
There’s nothing wrong with Spurs looking at experienced managers like Rangnick. But surely, Spurs fans will want to see someone younger and with a bit more longevity about them?
Levy has tried the winning formula route with Jose Mourinho and it didn’t work. So surely he isn’t going to go down a similar path?
Rangnick might well be open to the job, but Spurs fans are likely to be less than keen in all honesty.
