Tottenham Hotspur fans keen to see Dele Alli stay at the club this summer have received a boost, with The Telegraph reporting that Paris Saint-Germain are ready to give up on trying to sign the midfielder on loan.
Dele’s future has been a talking point after he found himself on the periphery of Jose Mourinho’s plans in recent times.

The Telegraph reports that PSG had been hopeful that they could agree a loan deal for the 24-year-old, who was interested in moving to Parc des Princes.
However, the report has suggested that they are now growing pessimistic about the chances of signing Dele.

It is claimed by The Telegraph that the finances of a potential loan are proving prohibitive. The report adds that it is looking increasingly likely that Dele will be staying put.
TBR View: Dele should be spurred on to prove Mourinho wrong
Spurs supporters will be hoping that Dele staying put inspires a turnaround in his fortunes. He has struggled to kick on after setting such a high bar during his first couple of years with the club.
But there have been enough glimpses shown to think that Dele – who earns £100,000-a-week, according to Spotrac – can get back to that level.
Of course, a move away cannot be ruled out entirely while the window remains open.
But it currently looks as though he will be going nowhere. And Spurs fans will be hoping that this window is looked back upon in the future as a close call.
