Tottenham Hotspur forward Lucas Moura has emerged as a potential transfer target for Aston Villa.
The Spurs attacker has fallen down the pecking order under Antonio Conte this year.
Since Dejan Kulusevski’s arrival at Tottenham, Moura began making fewer and fewer starts.

Now, with Richarlison also at N17, the 30-year-old is struggling even more for game time.
Moura has just 12 minutes under his belt this term, both substitute appearances coming in the first two games.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa have endured a tough start to the Premier League campaign, losing three out of four matches.
According to The Telegraph, the Villans have an interest in Moura and are plotting a deadline-day move for him.
Villa have been criticised lacking width in attacking areas, and the Spurs man would help rectify this, added the report.
However, ‘it would still take persuading from Gerrard for the Brazilian to swap Champions League football for a potential relegation battle’.
Tottenham shouldn’t gamble by letting Moura leave – TBR View
Although Moura is no longer a regular starter at Tottenham, he doesn’t seem surplus to requirements.
Spurs have a busy season ahead of them, fighting on four fronts, and strength in depth is key.
Moura is an ‘amazing‘, versatile forward who still has a lot to offer Tottenham.
And of course, no Spurs fan will ever forget his performance in Amsterdam in that Champions League semi-final.
It remains to be seen whether Tottenham accept a bid from Villa, and also whether the player fancies the move.
In our opinion, Antonio Conte shouldn’t gamble by losing a reliable player to another club, unless he has someone else lined up.
