Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho could be handed a boost for tonight’s Premier League game as Ben Davies hopes to be passed fit, according to the Evening Standard.
Spurs have a huge game this evening, welcoming Liverpool to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a 8pm kickoff.
Mourinho is already set to be without Sergio Reguilon for around three weeks due to a muscle injury.

The Spaniard, an unused substitute for the FA Cup fourth-round win at Wycombe on Monday, underwent a scan to determine the extent of the problem on Wednesday.
Already a man down at left-back, Davies is also a potential doubt to face the Reds after being forced off in stoppage-time in the 4-1 win at Adams Park with a knock.
However, the Evening Standard says the Wales international is hoping to be passed fit – were that the case, the left-back position wouldn’t cause Mourinho too many problems tonight.
TBR View:
Reguilon’s absence is already a big problem for Mourinho, but at least if Davies is fit, left-back resolves itself.
If Davies is also out, then the likeliest course of action would be deploying Japhet Tanganga at left-back.
There are some other options – Moussa Sissoko, Joe Rodon, one of the right-backs, or even academy ace Dennis Cirkin – but hopefully Davies will be fit and that’ll be that.
