Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb have claimed that Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG have opened talks to sign Lazio attacker Joaquin Correa. Argentina international Correa is a target for Arsenal, Tottenham and other Premier League clubs. Correa has a price tag of £30million, and PSG lead the race.
Correa, 26, was sensational under Simone Inzaghi last season. The new Inter gaffer got the best out of the Argentine – with Correa having a hand in 17 goals. He scored 11 and created six more. Inzaghi has left, and now Correa might follow him. Premier League clubs are interested.
Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham are all keen – as per Gazzetta Dello Sport. But now, it appears Pochettino and PSG have stolen a march on the Premier League trio. They have held talks with Lazio and the Serie A club have informed PSG that £30million will be needed. Talks are ongoing.

Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham still have Correa chance
But they have got to move quickly. It is because PSG will not buy Correa until they make room in their current squad – by either offloading the experienced Angel Di Maria, or Julian Draxler. The latter only just signed a new deal with Pochettino’s side, but his future is still up in the air.
That might just give the London trio time to open talks and get a bid accepted for the versatile attacker. Certainly, at £30million, he is easily worth the gamble this summer. Correa has a contract with Lazio until the summer of 2024, meaning they are under no pressure to sell.
