Klich played an important cameo role in Leeds’ 2-1 opening day win against Wolves.
Coming on for goal scorer Rodrigo in the 65th minute, Klich sured up Leeds’ midfield, and was deployed in his typical playmaking role.

It was his pass into Patrick Bamford that allowed the forward to run into space and deliver a cross that was turned in by Wolves defender Rayan Ait-Nouri that eventually decided the game.
The Polish international’s performance was widely lauded by the media, with one report saying he ‘deserves huge credit’.
But it seems that even this display hasn’t fully confirmed that he’ll be kept around.
Klich has been linked with a move away from Elland Road this summer, and the Athletic’s latest update say that those at Leeds remain ‘equivocal’ about Klich’s future at the club.
Klich’s Leeds future is uncertain
Before Saturday’s match, it would be easy to look at Leeds’ squad and see why Klich’s time at the club might be up.
Marsch’s side have heavily reinforced their options in midfield, with new signings Marc Roca and Tyler Adams lining up alongside each other in the centre of the park on Saturday.
However, Klich’s introduction off the bench clearly changed the game, and although another new signing – Darko Gyabi – was also named among the substitutes, Marsch turned to the Pole first to make an impact.

In fact, Marsch chose to deploy forward Sam Greenwood in an unfamiliar deeper role towards the end of the match rather than bring on Gyabi or 16-year-old Archie Gray to play in that position.
When Adam Forshaw and Stuart Dallas both return from injury, Marsch will have more senior options to play in centre midfield, but given his impressive run out on Saturday, it might be hard to part with fan favourite Klich.
