Arsenal target Albert Sambi Lokonga has been left out of Anderlecht training as his move to the Emirates Stadium edges closer, Walfoot report.
Lokonga appears to have been scouted as a top prospect by Arsenal’s recruitment team this summer, as they look to get a deal over the line.
Arsenal’s interest was first reported weeks ago, but it seems that they are now edging closer to completing a transfer.
The midfielder was officially listed as part of Anderlecht’s squad for pre-season.
However, it is claimed that he is now training individually rather than with his teammates, as the Belgian side get ready for him to leave.

One for the future
That will be a blow to Vincent Kompany’s side, as Lokonga wore their captain’s armband last season.
But his arrival at Arsenal should create a fair degree of excitement around the North London club.
While Lokonga may not be a permanent starter immediately, he is regarded as one of the best talents in Belgium, and if he fulfils his promise could prove to be a very astute purchase in future years for Mikel Arteta’s men.
