Reported Arsenal target Donyell Malen is being eyed by Napoli, who are prepared to offer £35million for him, according to CalcioNapoli24.
The PSV Eindhoven striker was on the Gunners’ books between 2015 and 2017 after joining from Ajax, and was a prolific scorer at youth level in England.
However, despite scoring 27 goals in 67 games across various age groups, Arsenal sold him three years ago to PSV for a reported £500,000 (talkSPORT).

Fast-forward three years and Malen has 28 goals and 14 assists from 71 senior competitive appearances for the Dutch giants, and is seemingly high up on clubs’ summer wishlists.
This season has been especially fruitful for the 21-year-old, with 17 goals and nine assists from just 25 appearances in all competitions.
Arsenal are reportedly keen on bringing him back (The Mirror), though Calciomercato claims Juventus are keen too.
And now, CalcioNapoli24 claims the Serie A high-flyers are also in pursuit of the attacker, and are willing to foot £35million for him, with some funds possibly recouped from selling Hirving Lozano.
TBR View:
Hindsight, eh? When Arsenal offloaded Malen three years ago, it wasn’t a popular decision by any means, but now it really looks like the mistake to end all mistakes.
The Gunners are now sweating on the futures of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette, both of whom could leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Aubameyang’s situation in particular has become a major own goal for Arsenal, who now have a choice of selling him at a huge loss this summer or in January, or nothing at all next summer.
Meanwhile, the player Arsenal offloaded for just £500,000 three years ago could potentially fetch his new side a 70-fold profit.
