Tottenham Hotspur could yet launch a move for Nikola Milenkovic, according to Alfredu Pedulla.
Late bid?
Milenkovic has been heavily linked with a move to West Ham United in a deal worth just under £15 million.
West Ham are said to be in advanced negotations to sign Milenkovic now, and they are firmly in the lead to sign him.
But the Fiorentina defender is also apparently liked by Tottenham transfer chief Fabio Paratici.
And it is claimed by the Italian source that West Ham ‘must be careful’ of Tottenham, as they aim to sign the Serbian.
Tottenham have already moved to snap up Cristian Romero from Atalanta.
But the latest update suggests that Spurs may not be finished with their defensive recruitment this summer, and Milenkovic is very much on their radar.
Transforming the defence?
If Tottenham were to sign Milenkovic and Romero this summer then they could completely transform their defence.

Tottenham’s backline struggled to withstand pressure last season, with the side’s inability to hold on to leads really hurting.
Romero and Milenkovic were two of Serie A’s leading central defenders last term, though.
And if they were to join Tottenham they could help to completely transform Nuno’s defence.
