Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s £15 million move to Tottenham Hotspur will be completed in the next few days, according to a report from The Telegraph.
Hojbjerg’s exit from St Mary’s has been on the cards for some time. But there looked to be some doubt over whether Jose Mourinho would be the man to sign the Dane.
The Daily Echo reported last month that Everton had agreed personal terms with the former Saints captain.
But The Telegraph has now suggested that he looks to be heading for Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with a move set to be sealed in the next few days.
The report notes that Spurs have agreed many of the details, with Hojbjerg set to cost £15 million. And it is suggested that agreeing personal terms will prove a formality.
The Telegraph has also confirmed that Kyle Walker-Peters is set to move in the opposite direction.

It would have done the Saints or Spurs no favours had speculation surrounding Hojbjerg continued for much longer.
The turnaround between the two seasons is obviously much shorter. So Mourinho will be pleased to have the 24-year-old in the ranks before pre-season gets going.
Meanwhile, Ralph Hasenhuttl will welcome the chance to move on. Walker-Peters was superb during the final weeks of the campaign, and he will be pleased to have the clarity that will come when Hojbjerg moves on.
It was in all parties’ best interest to agree a move. And the latest reports suggests that that agreement is almost imminent.
