Arsenal are hoping to convince Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to stay at Arsenal and there is hope that they can do so, according to a new report.
It was reported by The Sun this week that Arsenal could sell the Gabon striker for as little as £20 million this summer.
If the club does not receive an offer in that region, they are unlikely to sell the player and will keep him on board until his contract expires in 2021.
However, according to Football.London, there is a chance he could stay.

They report that the star striker ‘can be convinced to stay’ but is hoping to challenge for top-tier titles. It is claimed ‘the most likely outcome’ is Aubameyang entering the final year of his contract and seeing how Arsenal progress before committing to his future.
Prior to the global health crisis, it seemed Aubameyang was on his way. The Gabon star’s contract issues meant Arsenal were in a place where they risk losing him for nothing in 12 months time and were all set to cash in.
But with clubs around Europe tightening their pursestrings, Arsenal are now finding it hard to find a suitable buyer.
If Mikel Arteta can turn the Gunners into some sort of force again next season, then there is every chance that Aubameyang might even decide to sign an extension to his current deal.
But at the very least, it would appear that the 30-year-old will be sticking around at The Emirates for the 2020-21 campaign.
