Florentino Perez would love to appoint Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp with Carlo Ancelotti’s future at Real Madrid hanging by a thread, according to Spanish outlet Sport.
Ancelotti has led Real to top spot in La Liga. Meanwhile, they were minutes away from drawing the first-leg of their Champions League last 16 tie with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

The Italian is under no immediate pressure. However, Perez is not convinced that Ancelotti is the right man to take Real forward beyond this season. And with that, Los Blancos are considering replacing the former Everton boss.
Interestingly, Sport claims that some of their marquee targets also have doubts regarding a move to the Bernabeu while Ancelotti is in place.

Sport reports that Mauricio Pochettino would be a target for Real should he leave PSG. But it is also stated that Perez would absolutely love to appoint Klopp.
Unsurprisingly, Sport do hint that Klopp heading to the Spanish capital for next season looks unlikely.
There is almost no chance of Klopp leaving Liverpool for Real Madrid
Klopp has already mapped out when he plans to leave Liverpool and what he will do following his Anfield departure.
He is under contract until 2024. And he has spoken of his desire to take a year out of the game following that before deciding his next move.
Of course, the Real Madrid job may be difficult for most managers to turn down. But Klopp is one of the best of all-time. Sir Alex Ferguson labelled his achievements on Merseyside ‘phenomenal‘.
And the vacancy at the Bernabeu comes up often enough.
If he was interested, he would probably not need to wait too long – whenever he makes himself available. So there is absolutely no reason for Klopp to risk tainting his legacy at Liverpool by walking away two years early.
