A familiar face could offer Dele Alli a route out of Tottenham Hotspur in a future window, with The Telegraph reporting that Monaco are monitoring his situation.
It has been a frustrating start to the season for the 24-year-old. He has only made two Premier League appearances so far, and has been on the pitch for less than 90 minutes in the top flight.

The Telegraph reports that Paris Saint-Germain had three summer loan bids rejected. Meanwhile, there were tentative talks about Dele moving in the opposite direction as part of the deal that saw Gareth Bale return to North London.
He ultimately stayed. However, his lack of game-time has meant that questions about his future have continued.

The Telegraph reports that a loan move could be considered in January. And it suggested that former Spurs head of recruitment Paul Mitchell is monitoring his situation.
Mitchell is now sporting director with the Ligue 1 side. And it would appear that he is interested in potentially striking a deal for the England international.
TBR View: Spurs cannot shut door on Dele completely
It remains to be seen what Jose Mourinho’s long-term plan is for Dele. He is not favour right now. But he is surely too good a player to shut the door on altogether.
A loan move may be best for all parties by the time January comes around. It looks to be a crucial period in his career as he looks to realise his full potential.
Playing regularly therefore, seems to be a must. And if that means letting him head elsewhere, Spurs must be prepared to consider it – unless a dramatic change takes place before the January window opens.
