Reported Arsenal target Patson Daka has been earmarked as a potential January departure from his club, according to Optus Sport.
However, the 22-year-old could be a highly sought-after player this month, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham also linked with the Red Bull Salzburg star’s services.
Daka was reportedly on Mikel Arteta’s radar over the summer, South African outlet The Far Post claiming the Gunners were one of the sides vying for his signature.

While nothing came of the reported interest as the summer window shut, Football London claimed Edu was still keen on Daka going into the January window.
And now, Optus Sport speculates that he “could follow playmaker Dominik Szoboszlai, who joined RB Leipzig, out the door this window”.
Daka has registered 15 goals and five assists from just 17 competitive games this season, including eight goals and three assists from eight Bundesliga appearances.
TBR View:
Whilst Daka has made a huge name for himself over the past season, particularly after Erling Braut Haaland’s exit, his talent has been evident for years.
Former Lille and Zambia coach Herve Renard previously said of the player: “Write his name down because he’s very, very promising” (Besoccer).
Dan Kabwe, another of his former coaches, told News Diggers last year: “When I saw Patson Daka, what came into my mind is this guy is the next Thierry Henry – and in no time he has proved it.”
In terms of price tag, The Sun claimed last August that a fee of “£20million plus” could be enough to tempt him from Salzburg – fairly modest considering his age, talent, goalscoring record and chance for further development.
