Report: Patson Daka could cost just £17m; Liverpool, Spurs, and Arsenal all keen

Liverpool, Spurs, and Arsenal may only need to find £17m for RB Salzburg striker, Patson Daka, if they want to sign him this summer.

All three clubs have been linked with moves for the impressive Zambian striker in recent months. In March, the Salzburger Nachrichten claimed that the likes of Liverpool, Spurs, and Manchester City were keen. Arsenal, meanwhile, have been tracking Daka since last summer, according to various reports.

And according to the Express, Daka may well be allowed to leave this summer for the princely sum of just £17m. The Express’s report was making a case for why Arsenal should sign him if Alexandre Lacazette leaves. However, within that report, the £17m figure was mentioned, which would be quite the bargain.

Daka has rifled in the goals this summer and has 31 to his name in all competitions. Spurs are always on the lookout for support for Harry Kane, while Liverpool need a number nine this summer. Arsenal, meanwhile, could well be looking at a number of new players again.

Young? Check. Quick? Check. Capable of scoring goals? Massive check. Patson Daka looks the real deal and £17m is a ridiculous bargain if he does go for that fee.

Liverpool, Spurs, and Arsenal should be all over this one. At 22, Daka has ample time to get even better.

Given he’s got 31 this season and is only improving, the sky seems the limit for him. In fact, any Premier League club who gets a sniff at signing Daka this summer, should seize their chance immediately.
