Tottenham Hotspur managing director Fabio Paratici is wanted by PSG, with Foot Mercato reporting that Leonardo’s future in the French capital is in serious doubt.

PSG have had a mixed 12 months. They sit well clear of the chasing pack in Ligue 1. And they won the first-leg of their last 16 tie with Real Madrid in the Champions League.

However, Mauricio Pochettino’s men failed to win the league title last season. And they are in danger of losing Kylian Mbappe at the end of the season when his contract expires.

It appears that Leonardo may be one to pay the price. Foot Mercato reports that there are serious doubts over the 52-year-old’s future at Parc des Princes.

The report notes that PSG’s dream would be to have Zinedine Zidane as manager with Arsene Wenger taking Leonardo’s role. But they also have their eye on other contenders.

And one of those being monitored by PSG is Paratici. It is suggested that he was previously approached last year. And he remains open to considering such a move. He reacted very badly to the way Conte recently reflected on Tottenham’s January window.

Jury still out on Paratici, but PSG move could be a real blow for Tottenham

Paratici has divided opinion at Tottenham. Certainly, mistakes have been made since his arrival last year.

However, he has also done a lot of good since his appointment. Daniel Levy lauded his ‘outstanding‘ track record when he came in.

Tottenham have certainly started to put some extremely impressive foundations in place.

Antonio Conte is now at the helm. Meanwhile, Cristián Romero, Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski are amongst those who could potentially prove to be brilliant signings.

Spurs now look to have serious potential. So while Paratici has not yet silenced all of his doubters, it would appear that losing him in the future would be a blow.

Turning down PSG however, may not be easy if they do come calling.
