Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil could be set to leave the club this summer, with the Evening Standard reporting that Fabio Paratici is set for talks with Sampdoria over his exit.
Gil joined Spurs from Sevilla last summer for a fee worth £21.6m and the transfer saw Erik Lamela move the other way (Sky Sports).
The 21-year-old has struggled to make an impact since making the switch from La Liga and was sent back to Spain as he joined Valencia on loan in January.
And now it seems that Tottenham’s transfer guru Paratici is actively looking to move the Spaniard on again, just a year after signing him.

Paratici in talks to get rid of Bryan Gil
The Evening Standard reports that Paratici is currently in Italy and is focusing on selling players.
The report states that the Italian will hold a meeting with Sampdoria over Gil, as well as holding talks with AC Milan over Japhet Tanganga.
Apparently Antonio Conte has doubts over Gil’s suitability to the Premier League, which is understandable given his first year with the North London club.
The Spanish winger put in some impressive performances during his loan spell at Valencia last season and made 17 appearances for the La Liga outfit.
It led to Valencia fans chanting at Gil to ‘stay’ after their Copa del Rey semi-final win back in March.

But Conte clearly has doubts over Gil’s suitability to the Premier League. The Spaniard has had his chance to impress Conte over the past week as he was part of the squad for the tour of South Korea.
And it seems that Gil hasn’t done enough to convince the Italian that he is ready to stake a claim for a place in Spurs’ squad this season.
TBR’s View: Gil needs a loan move to a Premier League club
Gil is clearly a talented player and he showed glimpses of his ability while at Valencia. But as Conte’s main concern is over his suitability to English football, it would make sense to loan him to a Premier League side.
This way, the youngster would gain valuable experience of playing in the league and Conte can assess his performances in England. It would be a shame if Spurs sold Gil just yet, if he matures physically and adjusts to Premier League football, he could become a top player.
