Nuno is keen to sign Conor Coady for Tottenham Hotspur, 90 Minutes have reported.
Nuno and Coady were known to have a great relationship at Wolves during the Portuguese boss’s stint at Molineux.
And it is claimed that the newly appointing Tottenham boss has already asked for the England international, who was called ‘outstanding’ by Gareth Southgate (Sky), to be brought to North London.
Coady is not pushing for a move, but Wolves apparently are of the stance that if significant offers come in for their players then they will be willing to sell him.
A sensible reunion?
Whether Tottenham have the funds to prise Coady away from the club remains to be seen.
But he could fit the mould of what Tottenham are looking for.

Spurs are thought to be aiming to find a leader at the back, and Coady is certainly that.
With Coady, Pierre Emile Hojbjerg, Hugo Lloris and Harry Kane – Spurs really would have a strong leadership group at the club.
Coady, of course, wears Wolves’ captain’s armband and is currently part of the England squad at Euro 2020, although he has not yet played a minute during the tournament.
Coady has also raved about Tottenham’s training ground recently, after getting the chance to train there with England (official England podcast).
