Joe Rodon is still waiting to hear if Nuno wants him at Tottenham Hotspur, the Athletic report.
Patiently waiting
Tottenham appear to be pushing to sign a central defender this summer, which could impact on Rodon’s first-team chances.
The 23-year-old is yet to return to pre-season at Spurs, after representing Wales over the summer.
And Rodon is actually said to be in the dark over whether he will be staying with Tottenham or not.
Promising signs
Spurs only signed Rodon from Swansea City last summer for a deal worth £15 million (Sky), but he showed signs of promise last term.
Under Ryan Mason, he was not given any game time, but his showings when Jose Mourinho were in charge suggested that he had a future.

The problem for Rodon is he has not been able to force his way into Tottenham’s starting team on a regular basis.
Spurs fans are unsure whether Rodon will be kept around next term and it seems that the player is too.
Nuno may well want to assess the centre-back’s level over pre-season, given that he has only had a fleeting amount of opportunities so far.
And it will be interesting to see whether Spurs opt to keep hold of the Welshman or make him available for sale in the coming weeks.
