New Spurs manager Nuno Espirito Santo has told a number of young players, including Ryan Sessegnon and Oliver Skipp, that they are part of his plans.
Santo is currently working with a depleted squad, with a number of players still to return following the Euros. Sessegnon and Skipp are currently part of that squad.
Sessegnon impressed while on loan with Hoffenheim last term. Skipp, meanwhile, was influential as Norwich romped to the Championship title under Daniel Farke.

And yesterday, speaking in his first presser since taking over, Santo admitted that the pair at in his thinking.
“Every player of the squad is in my plan, every player, every player,” Santo told the Evening Standard.
“Even the Under-23s that a working with us are in my plans, because this is how we build a strong group. Everybody is going to be needed.”
Both Sessegnon and Skipp are expected to get minutes this weekend when Spurs take on Leyton Orient. Santo admitting that his squad will be a mix of first-team and younger players.
About time
For Sessegnon, this is a massive season really. He made a big money move to North London and hasn’t quite been able to get going. But, time is on his side and with a new manager to impress, he’ll be eager.
Skipp, meanwhile, has long been tipped to break in. He was superb with Norwich and now, with Santo in charge, can leave his mark.
While Santo is lamenting the lack of first-teamers being available, for Skipp and Sessegnon this is an ideal Spurs chance. Hopefully, it’s one they seize.
