Oliver Skipp has caught the eye of Nuno over pre-season at Tottenham Hotspur, the Daily Mail suggest.
Catching the eye
Skipp has featured prominently for Tottenham in their friendly matches so far.
The central midfielder’s passing range has really caught the eye.
And the Mail claim that Nuno is one of the people at Tottenham who have been impressed by the 20-year-old’s display.
Skipping to the title
Skipp spent last season out on loan at Norwich City, where he helped them to the title, and there are now very high hopes for the potential impact he could make at Spurs this term.
The problem for Skipp, though, is that his first-team place is not guaranteed, despite his impressive pre-season.

And the latest update claims that Nuno could decide that sending Skipp out on loan would be the best option for his development.
If Nuno was to do that it would likely be a controversial move among Tottenham fans.
There has been great excitement about seeing Skipp, who has won big plaudits in friendly matches.
And with Spurs’ other options in midfield largely failing to convince last term, there is definitely an argument to suggest that Skipp should be given a chance, despite his tender years.
