Though reports from Media Foot in France have claimed that Nottingham Forest are interested in Lucas Paqueta, sources close to The Boot Room understand that that is not the case and the club are not looking at the player.
There is not a player safe from being linked with a City Ground switch this summer, it seems. Steve Cooper’s men have made a raft of signings in this window. And there are a number of other players on their radar.

So it will probably come as no surprise that reports have suggested that they are looking to sign Paqueta.
Media Foot reports that three Premier League sides have tried to sign the Brazil international. Arsenal, Newcastle and West Ham have all made a move. Reports have suggested that Manchester City are also admirers.

Sky Sports claimed this week that the Hammers have offered £33.75 million for the 24-year-old. However, Media Foot reports that Lyon have rejected that offer.
And it is Nottingham Forest’s turn to be linked with a move for the midfielder. However, sources have stated that Forest do not want the player.
Nottingham Forest not looking to sign Paqueta
Signing Paqueta would have been a huge statement from Nottingham Forest. He is one of the most exciting midfielders around. And there are a host of Premier League heavyweights looking to secure his signature.
He is an ‘extraordinary‘ talent. He would potentially be the most stunning signing in what has been an amazing window at the City Ground.
Forest may indeed be looking to strengthen further before the deadline. However, it seems that Paqueta is one player that the club are not planning to bid for anytime soon.
