Bordeaux have apparently made full-back Youssouf Sabaly available for sale this January, and it should put Newcastle United on alert.
According to Foot Mercato, the 26-year-old can leave the Ligue 1 outfit if an offer of around €15 million/£13 million is tabled.

Sabaly has apparently been offered to a number of English clubs including Crystal Palace, Fulham, Brighton and Southampton.
This term, the right-back has made six appearances having had some injury problems at the start and has been deemed surplus to requirements.
Newcastle’s defence has looked fairly strong this season, but right-back is perhaps the weakest area of their backline, and maybe Steve Bruce should consider joining the hunt.
TBR’s view – Versatile Sabaly could be a good Newcastle signing
Sabaly now reportedly being available for sale perhaps ought to catch Newcastle’s attention.

The star is a natural right-back and that is a position that could be improved, with DeAndre Yedlin often a source of frustration and Emil Krafth having done little to convince.
Sabaly has the capacity to deputise at left-back which would be handy, and this term for Bordeaux he’s actually featured on both wings, suggesting he’d suit Newcastle’s system that uses wing-backs.
Newcastle are no strangers to signing Senegalese players having brought Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse to the club last decade, and Sabaly should be worth consideration as the next.
