With under two weeks left of the January transfer window, Newcastle United are busy trying to bolster their ranks further.
The Magpies have already signed two players in Kieran Trippier and Chris Wood.
However, Newcastle still have a lot of work to do in pursuit of a team capable of beating the drop.

There has been a lot of speculation linking the Magpies with Diego Carlos as they look to strengthen at centre-back.
However, there’s certainly scope to bring in some more top attacking players to St James’ Park.
Now, reports have emerged claiming Newcastle are looking to sign Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard.
According to 90Min, the Magpies are willing to make Lingard the highest-paid player at the club in order to persuade him to join them on loan.
The Red Devils are reportedly open to the idea of Lingard leaving and would not stand in his way.
However, the player himself – reportedly on £75,000-a-week at Man United – would have to give the green light to any move.
Sources close to the player believe Newcastle will have to ‘work very hard’ to convince Lingard to make the move, added 90Min.

The 29-year-old has been a peripheral figure at Old Trafford this season.
Lingard has started just one match in 14 appearances, and is into the final six months of his contract.
His situation is wholly different to the second half of last season, where he shone on loan at West Ham.
Lingard was superb in London, registering nine goals and five assists from 16 games.
Back in May, Bruno Fernandes hailed his clubmate’s efforts on loan at the London Stadium.
“If you see Jesse, I think Jesse, at the moment, if you watch the last 10 games, has been top, top, top level,” he told United’s club website.
“For me, if you watch the last 10 games, he’s been the best player in the Premier League, scoring and assists in every game.”
