Newcastle United striker Joselu is set to join Deportivo Alaves for just €2 million (£1.7 million) after a poor couple of years at St. James’ Park.
The Spaniard has made 52 appearances for the club but only scored seven goals.

Marca are reporting that Alaves are ready to bring the Spaniard back to his homeland for a fraction of the £5 million fee Newcastle paid Stoke City for him in 2017.
The club have already signed Lucas Perez from West Ham United and are now ready to hand him a partner.
According to Chronicle Live, manager Rafa Benitez actually felt he could have gotten £10 million for Joselu back in January.
Apparently there was interest in the player from China, but the 59-year-old was unsure he’d be able to replace him.
TBR’s view
Perhaps Benitez could have sold him for a lot more earlier this year, but as poor as he has been the manager might have needed him.

There was no guarantee that Salomon Rondon would have stayed fit, and it would have been slightly risky.
Fans are unlikely to see it that way though, with the club now looking at a potential £8.3m blunder.
